the federal government should not have the right to force people to buy *PRIVATE* health insurance. all the other provisions of the bill are still intact, the government just has to find a legitimate way to fund the public requirement that everyone be covered.
Preventing or getting rid of dumb legislation is our job through our representatives, which is why all that "the perfect is the enemy of the good" nonsense was so nauseating. The crappy is a far greater enemy of the good, Bill, and it's past time we stopped accepting a standard of mediocrity.
