.....it is their right to choose.

and not everyone use's car insurance, I have never been in an accident (granted I have only been driving for 7 years, so maybe on day i will), that's why if you can't afford it you just don't drive, even if you won't use it. Health care does not work that way a hospital MUST serve you, whether you can afford it or not therefore increasing other peoples rates. In order for you to claim that not everyone uses it you must give the hospitals the ability to turn someone away without insurance, oh someone broke into your house, shot you and now you bleeding to death, sorry we can't service you. As for the "many can pay for it without insurance" i broke my noise (i do have insurance, and good thing to my ER bill was $68,000 before insurance for a cat-scan, a few pain pills, and 3 hours in the hospital). Some people could afford that, I'm pretty sure bill gates could afford any car accident he's in, he's still required to have car insurance though.

and before anyone says anything about me going to the hospital for every little thing, that's the only bone I've ever broken in my body, and the only time I've ever been in a hospital as a patient, besides my birth of course. Plus it was broken in 4 spots...
