Maybe it's subliminal bashing. Joel Send a noteboard - 23/12/2010 09:05:27 PM
who try and blow any silly mistake out of proportion. No amount froth around your critics mouths tells you more about the critics than about you.

Think about how much chest pounding and hair pulling the lunatic left would be doing if Fox did this to an Obama book.

I HATE when people do that.... ;)

Meh. I don't watch CBS either; ever since the blogosphere so adroitly caught an error missed by both them and the White House who told Rather they had no reason to doubt the documents he vetted with them before airing it seems kinda pointless. The GOP set up their senior newstaff for a smear and got away with it, and I don't consider Katie Couric an "anchor" in any but a negative sense. If Fox were accused of libeling someone who OKed the documents used to do it and had only once, in a single frame, erred, I might see the comparison. As it is, it's become so routine there that it's hardly worthy of note anymore. Odd how the brilliant and inerrant "blogosphere" can bash the NYT for falsified stories whose author was fired the moment he was discovered, but give Fox a free pass every time they screw up like this. Which is frighteningly often given how much credibility they DO have with the otherwise so skeptical blogosphere authorities themselves accountable to no one. It's like you hired Julian Assange as your "fact checker".
