I have, repeatedly, whether you accept them or not; as to the "big government" issue, the right doesn't have a monopoly on hatred of it (e.g. Kaczinski, who, despite villifying "the left" in his infamous manifesto, is impossible to classify as "right" given his counterculture anarchism). Likewise, the right is not unanimous in opposing it, hence their tremendous expansion of government in business in the 1870s (and other times) and McCarthys thought police and witch hunts (though right wing red scares are periodic in US history). Heck, Bush aired PSAs where people were surveilled based on their library books as propaganda to justify surveilling people based on their library books, so it's no surprise he presided over the biggest government expansion (and deficit increase) in US history and trampled on the Bill of Rights with the "PATRIOT" Act as gleefully as he ignored FISA to illegally tap our phones (yes, I'm aware Obama's broken his promise to end that; they're both guilty).

Enough. I've supported my position; the thread starter is evidence enough for it, but I've provided more. Your can refuse to accept it, but denying its existence is absurd, and I'll waste no more time trying to convince you what's in front of your nose is real. You may rest assured I will read any further responses, but I will not reply to them, because there is no point, but do not confuse my pitying silence with agreement or concession.

Seriously, though, for your sake and our countrys, you and your fellows really need to get past this "our side can do no wrong and theirs can do no right" mentality, because that's more divisive than anything I can imagine.
