Also, I could understand employers having that attitude towards a more applied computer major (computer tech or something) but CS is pretty academic/theoretical, or at least it should be. Make sure of that based on the degree reqts of the school you plan to attend (what some schools call CS really isn't...)

If you weren't sure what career you wanted to end up in, it might make sense to consider both of these majors, but even then maybe not, because CS is eminently more employable, as Clover says. But since you already know you are looking to get into a CS-related field, settling for a minor in that seems silly. Doing the minor in physics will still have that "oooh he must me s-m-r-t" effect without actively hampering your job prospects out of school
