I dunno what else though ... to be honest I'm sort of an Opera newb. I've only seen six all the way through. I've been told the NY Phil is going to do The Cunning Little Vixen towards this summer (like how they did Ligeti's Grand Macabre last year). If that's true I'm definitely going to that, I loved the animated version. I really want to see how they pull that opera together in a live production.

I suppose if I was to go to one a month, the line up would be ...

Nixon in China -
Romeo and Juliette -
Le Comte Ory - (I really enjoyed The Barber of Seville)
Valkyrie for May :).

Who knows how it works out though with school and work ...
