Both are deadly but treatable illness that kills people. In the US more people die of flu then from HIV so which one does it make the most sense to kill people for spreading? Both are also preventable if proper care is taken.

The fact that some countries have made it murder really lends nothing to the argument. Some countries give the death penalty for homosexuality or infidelity. China just gave a man a life sentence for not pay highway tolls. Colored me unimpressed with what some countries do argument.
