I apologize for that segment of the gender. They are ridiculous and gross. Some of the transcripts I read just made me shake my head.

I am often completely uninterested in the messaging conversations I have. It's like they aren't even trying. Bleh.

Again with the apologies! I always tried my best to be charming and interesting, but then writing is my thing. On the bright side, at least it's an easy and early indicator of whether someone might be good for you, potentially saving time and bother.

Also, you're totally right. I often find that men on dating websites are either:

1. Terribly terrible (totally out for whatever they can get with whomever they can con into going out with them.

Or

2. Terribly exacting in their expectations (Using not-so-subtle queues in their profile to weed out people they are "too good" for)

It's a shame that's often the case. There are some good ones out there too! But I know how discouraging it can be to try sifting through endless grains of sand to find the sparklies.

Oh. Geeze. plentyoffish is like... like... a nightmare. Seriously.

It was awful. Boring profiles, little to no useful information, no usable matching system, and no one I was actually interested in. It felt like the trailer court of online dating. Nothing against trailer courts, but ... yeah.
