Every single relationship I've ever had was preceded by a friendship, usually a well-established one. People talk about not dating your friends because it's awkward, especially if it doesn't work out, but I can't imagine going about things any other way.


But they don't seem to be so inclined.

Well, you also want to make sure that dating candidates are of sound mind, so perhaps it's for the best?
