for some reason he likes to hold a grudge for something that happened almost a decade before he was born...

The formers use of the latter in the Favre era just provided me the perfect storm. All the "Dallas cheated111" talk after the '95 NFC Championship, followed by players 16-0 predictions after the SB XXXI win, followed by more "Denver cheated111" after the SB XXXII loss helped, too. Holmgren still says they "let" Denver score the game winning TD, though if you look at the whole of his comments he's just saying the D he rode to that game and the previous championship wasn't good enough to stop us from scoring and he put it all on his offense. The one Denver stopped on the drive after their TD to officially beat the great Holmgren Packers on both sides of the ball.
