One of the best games I've seen in a long while. I like how the refs for the most part let them play.
Well, the refs are there for a reason, and there were a few calls that were just flat out bad. Most obvious was the Packers "incomplete" pass late in the third that should've been ruled a fumble and Packers recovery for a first down, but was upheld even after the replay clearly showed possession and control. As it happens, Mendenhall fumbled at around the Packers 35 on the ensuing drive, and the Packers not only recovered but went on a TD drive as a result, but if Pitt HADN'T fumbled, the Pack was back on their heels after the Steelers had been in control for most of the quarter on both sides of the ball, and a 10 point swing at that or any point would've cost them the game. Similarly, a horsecollar tackle on Mendenhall earlier wasn't called and instead of a big run or a 15 yard penalty Pitt was forced to punt from inside their 20. That's before we get into Ben throwing interceptions into double coverage or putting up jump balls from his own end zone that scored a TD for the wrong team.
I didn't see the horsecollar so I can't say a thing as to that, but there definitely was not enough evidence to overturn the call. Now I hate the Steelers with a passion almost to the level of how I hate the Patriots or Yankees but that call was upheld as it should have been based on the on the field ruling. In slow motion it looked like he held it long enough, but shit, thats because the time is delayed. In real time, I think its borderline and you need better than that to overturn the call. I think it was a pretty well called game, especially for a game the Steelers were involved in.
I do think it was a great game. Thats my opinion. I saw two excellent teams play a hard fought game. What more do you want?

Again, I'm just saying give credit where it's due, and that's the Packers defence, by a fair margin.
