I think that qualifies as a bit of non story anyways. They tried to pass it with a method that requires a 2/3 majority but failed by 7 votes. They will hold a regular vote on it soon and it will pass fine. I have no idea what chance it will have to get through the senate but with all the red state democrats make a run for the center they should be able to pass it.


I'd noted that as the one good thing to have come out of the Tea Party movement.
