Buildings are not allowed to be very tall (in the centre) and the main street is shops on one side and gardens on the other. It feels very wide open everywhere you want to be. And it's got only 450,000 people spread over a large area, so it's not enormous.

I used to live in the country, back in NZ, and I love it here so much.
