i honestly don't think "child endangerment" or whatever the exact charge they're trying to pin on him even comes close to the real situation here. yes, he played a bad trick on this school and its kids. and yes, what he did was probably in relatively bad taste, but this kind of thing has happened many many times before, and nobody got charged with child porn related infractions for it.

in other words, what he did was not considered such a problem by any of these other artists, and most of what this kid is being charged with is basically railroading him into (potentially) 20+ years in prison for what amounts to a big lie by omission.
