I'm sure it's not that easy just to walk out if you're uncomfortable in these circumstances. It's rude to walk out in the middle of class.


While I agree that some may have felt pressure to stay rather than walk away, the demonstration was not actually during the class. It was an after dismissal exhibition. After the lecture, the students were allowed to stay if they were interested.
