The French hit those vehicles in that military convoy 10 miles from Benghazi center. Tom Send a noteboard - 21/03/2011 03:01:06 AM
Hours, even minutes of delay could have proved fatal. The French hit the military convoy at 4:00 am, about 2 hours before the dawn assault was planned to finish off Benghazi. Once the vehicles were in the streets of the city it would be hard to target them without hitting or killing civilians. Now tell me how giving Qatar 4 hours changed ANYTHING. People who were going to oppose the operation did so anyway. People who weren't didn't. A few jets from Qatar changed nothing from the PR angle and waiting would have been devastating militarily.

Tell me where the flaw in that reasoning is.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
