Sadly, the only lesson he's likely to learn is "pick on someone your own size, or better yet, smaller". My great grandfather used to say, "Don't start trouble, but if someone insists on trouble, give him so much he'll never want any more". I still think that's a good rule. I'm not sure I agree with the school officials who allowed that situation to develop (apparently, over years) supspending both of them; perhaps one could argue the kid defending himself responded disproportionately but, again, the idea is to not only end that confrontation, but discourage future ones. *wonders if the school would've done ANYTHING if the video hadn't gone on YouTube*
