The way that whole thing was handled just looked dirty and petty, and it was almost the representation of a failure of the US to adequately protect the legal process to keep it above the level of sectarian rivalries.
I agree completely.
This, on the other hand, is just marvelous.
I don't know that I can provide rational reasons for my feelings on this, but I'm not overly excited about it. I'm not unhappy, and it's not apathy either....
It's partly down to some of the stupid red-neckery I've seen on the news already, but I know that's a secondary reason.
