How are you today?

I just hired a real estate agent to handle the sale of my apartment :cries:

And I just ate my second dose of a malaria prophylaxis drug which I'm trying out to see if I tolerate it, some experience nasty side effects that you don't want to get when you're in the Middle of Nowhere, so I feel a bit weird. At least I haven't seen any pink elephants yet, so things are so far looking good.

Seeing pink elephants in the middle of nowhere sounds terrifying. Where are you heading off to? I know you don't often need malaria pills in Norway.

My plan is to work as a volunteer at a local hospital in rural Tanzania from september to decemeber.

Ooh. Doctor without borders?

Would look good on my CV :P

But stupid Doctors without Borders only want those with full licence, which I don't have.

But there's a nice doctor/professor at the hospital here who is married to a Tanzanianian(sp?) woman, and offered to fix me a position at the local hospital where his lady is from.

Ah. Well, still doing good.

Do you think it's sort of a credit account? I need the good karma to help me get lots and lots of money for my apartment, and it will be sold before I go to Africa..


I am no expert. You should ask someone with more spiritual experience. Perhaps you should help some old ladies cross the road just to be on the safe side.
