Some days you transfluctuate 30 percent of the badger's body mass into pure energy, horribly disfiguring and mutating the other 70 percent and accidentally granting it the ability to wield the energy created by its own mass in the form of tiny lightning balls. But only on the good days.
P.S. If you'd like a job as an Official Badger Consultant, I have a space available. The office needs slight repairs due to unrelated electrical damage and ketchup stains. The pay is pretty much nonexistent, but the benefits would be awesome if you had any, and in any other lab you'd be earning lucrative at-risk bonuses.
