Problem was Santorum hedged by saying he'd drop if he didn't make at least fifth place in Iowa, which is kinda weak since he's been campaigning there like crazy and there were only 9 people on it and he came in a distant fourth

I think it's fair to say that it's a race between Romney and Perry right now, with Bachmann positioning herself to be kingmaker if the fight goes on too long.


I don't really think Bachmann will be able to play kingmaker anymore than Paul could, the kind of support and funding they both get doesn't seem like it could translate into a massive whole-hearted endorsement
