Only if you can pay for it... which is an increasingly smaller number every year.

I also noticed the availability of public health care was a factor so I guess they rated free health care as being more important than quality health care and US cities need not apply.


I received excellent medical care while living in Canada during the 90s, particularly the two orthoscopic surgeries I required to remove bone fragments in my knee from a sports injury that my family didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket for.

We did have to pay extra for my braces, but since that's optional care it only made sense. Note that what we paid for my braces in Manitoba was still less than if I'd been in the US at that time.
