H#ll, the US supported Stalin against Hitler, and that was only months after Stalin was supporting Hitler against the rest of Europe, and Western Stalinists were calling anti-Nazism 'warmongering' at Stalin's direction.

This is really an old story, isn't it?

I mean, the US was opposed to Israel for decades... opposed to its formation, held them under an arms embargo for decades, sided with their enemies - even going so far as to side with Egypt in opposition to Israel, France, and the UK's plan to annex the Suez Canal and we (not just we, mind) eventually forced the three to back down. When did the US and Israel become allies? After the 1967 war where Israel showed it knew how to defeat Soviet-trained Arab armies.
Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion.
