The basic flaw in your argument is it is designed to counter what you have decided Christians think instead of what they actually think. Most of the Christians I know believe in free will and that while God may have a plan but that doesn't prevent free will. Since they like the shepherd analogy a sphered might move the flock in one direction or another but he doesn't move each sheep. God may know who is going to win the Super Bowl but that doesn't mean he decided who is going to win. Besides from my experience most Christians pray for guidance and strength not that god to give them things. Personally I am agnostic so I don't have a horse in the race but you are going to make judgments on other people's belief systems you should make sure you understand it first.
