One, I wasn't making any judgments. Two, my starting assumption was "A god in more or less the Christian idoim exists, and he is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-good." I don't think that's particularly unreasonable.
I used the Super Bowl as an example, but really, anything that's not an internal revelation would have worked. But yes, my point was that God knows who wins the Super Bowl- does he change that depending on people's prayers? Presumably the "correct" team is already going to win.
And, so there's no confusion, "Super Bowl" can be substituted with getting/losing a job, someone living or dying, the success of some kind of plan, and much more.
