I am not sure how it is unsceitific. From the article it isn't clear if they did things like hide from the testers which kids were watching which show but the test seem straight forward even if it was small. The test it self seems pretty valid. Some of the assumptions the article makes from are a stretch but that isn't a fault with the study.
