Eventually, you have to move from active grief to remembrance. This is years of experience with grieving talking, here. It's not healthy to deal with events ten years passed as if they happened yesterday, and that is still what we are doing.


And keeping it fresh keeps what war fever exists still at a peak. The more we tear open the wound, the more people are willing to tolerate the assaults on the Constitution and basic decency done in the name of those who died.
