A fake academic profile for Conan the Barbarian has been discovered on a faculty directory for Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. When the College administration was informed of the page it was immediately taken down, but not before it spread about the internet.

Dr. Barbarian apparently was the Long Room Hub Associate Professor in Hyborian Studies and Tyrant Slaying, whose PhD was titled ‘To Hear The Lamentation of Their Women: Constructions of Masculinity in Contemporary Zamoran Literature’. It is all very funny, and well worth checking out.
