In my imagination it went down something like this: Lews_TherinThelamon Send a noteboard - 21/09/2011 04:22:08 PM
Congress: So, we're thinking about taking away DADT.

USMC: NO! We don't want any gay people in the marines! We will now hold our breath and do push-ups until you change your mind.

US Army: Whatever. Everyone in the Air Force is gay anyhow...

US Air Force: No, we're not! You're thinking about the Navy!

US Navy: You just hate say so because we have these fabulous uniforms and yours look like something the cat dragged in. Does this aircraft carrier makes us look fat?

A passage of time...
Congress: We did it anyway, so now you'll have to accept gays.

US Army: Oh, well, I guess there'll be some friction, but it'll work out for us. But the marines... they'll throw a shitstorm now I guess.

US Air Force: Yeah, some gay guys will try for it, something will go FUBAR and they'll sue and the whole USAF reputation will go down in the sink.

US Navy: I think they're just afraid to face their own sexuality.

USMC(Stops doing push-ups, takes a deep breath): The Marine Corps? Tarnishing the USAF reputation? AFRAID? MARINES ARE NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING! WE'LL SHOW YOU! we're going to have the best gays! Our gays will crush the army's gays! We'll show you! OOORAAAH! SEMPER FI! SEMPER FI!
