I mean I suppose we could tailor something to allow people to always know which direction north was but one might assume if you were doing that kinda transhumanist stuff a little GPS implant would be easier and less intrusive.

Unless, of course, you live just south of the Arctic Circle and it rains/snows 80% of the time.
