I'm with you on this one. But you probably already knew that. Avendesora Send a noteboard - 10/11/2011 10:25:21 PM
Sorry, but this is one point where I must seem like a granola liberal or something. I think it's needless waste and people should just have fake trees.

Not being wasteful is not a hippy/crunchy thing. I would say it's more of a conservative value.
I don't give a shit about the tax one way or the other, though. If I had my druthers, I'd rather have the government support fruit and veggie growers more, and ethanol and Christmas tree people less.

THAT'S probably a granola liberal POV, and a different discussion entirely.
*MySmiley*

I believe all news and research that supports my opinion, and dismiss the rest as conspiracy and lies.

I don't understand the point of advertising Christmas trees, and I'm suprised the objection isn't - 10/11/2011 02:13:49 PM 605 Views
Christmas tree farmers seem to think they need help. - 10/11/2011 02:41:41 PM 565 Views

Why are we supporting an industry that does nothing but chop down healthy trees to throw them away? - 10/11/2011 02:30:10 PM 603 Views
Well, for the most part that is the reason they were planted in the first place. - 10/11/2011 02:34:09 PM 502 Views

These are trees that are planted specifically for that purpose... and then replacements are planted. - 10/11/2011 02:42:04 PM 488 Views
That is the very definition of needless consumerist waste. - 10/11/2011 04:07:34 PM 517 Views
