Calling Perrys threats against Bernanke threats is factually true and unbigoted, so, no, the two are not even remotely comparable. Citing another example of the kind of bigotry the Tea Party tolerates, and in which many of its leaders and members participate, does not really help your argument that it is the exception rather than the rule.
