I would not expect him to do any better running for president with that party now than he did a decade and a half ago. But then, I do not expect a pro-life pro-drug-legalization candidate to do well with any party. That is Pauls problem in a nut shell: In a nation that chooses its president on the basis of who scares it least, he offers something to terrify everyone. Tom and I disagree on a LOT of things (though not everything,) but I also like a lot of what Paul says until he goes overboard; I suspect, however, that Tom and I differ (somewhat) on WHERE Paul goes overboard. In terms of either of us voting for the man though, the specifics of why I will vote for Obama and Tom will vote for Romney do not matter (particularly since those are the men each party will nominate.)
