our family offerings are bread pudding and sugar cookies. The_Muted_Grimaud Send a noteboard - 05/12/2011 05:25:01 PM
I have a cousin and an aunt that always do bread pudding for the holidays, and my mom always makes sugar cookies with icing and decorations. Decorated sugar cookies are pretty ubiquitous around the holidays actually.

For thanksgiving we usually have apple pie and pumpkin bread. (We live in an apple orchard heavy region, apple items are very popular September-November.)

We have different icing. It is not typically a very dense, flat sheet of solid icing. Like fondant. - 04/12/2011 07:46:41 PM 1191 Views
