Much as Joel is a complete moron it probably isnt a bad thing to allow a video record of cops interacting with the public.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to pass a law that made publishing private information about poilce officers or publishing edited or misleading videos a crimal offense carrying significant penalties

Except the first clause, of course.
