Virtually every bill he's signed into law has been nightmare legislation that doesn't do anything helpful.

Not true, this bill is very helpful for the largest banks, as was their nearly trillion dollar bailout. Honestly, between stuff like that and extending the Bush tax cuts (while being accused of tax hikes) it is hard to imagine how your clients could be better served by anyone. All they have to do is keep calling Obama a socialist and they will keep getting everything they want
