1. Do you believe your political party is ALWAYS right?

Hell no. I don't think it's even right the majority of the time. I just generally agree with it more than the opposing party.

2. a) If so, why? b) If not, where do you think your political party is/has been wrong?

While I certainly support more government intervention than conservatives, I think the stereotype of the Democrats as just throwing money at problems is sadly true. I'm a staunch supporter of welfare, but it needs to be a program to assist people in getting back on their feet, not simply to sustain them. Of course, that doesn't apply to the handicapped and others who can't just "get back on their feet."

So that applies to quite a lot. I can't think of any civil rights issue that I've considered the Democrats to be "too liberal" on, but I can think of quite a few I've considered them to be pitifully conservative on. Gay rights probably leads the way on that, especially considering how effectively Obama used the gay community in his campaign.

3. Do you think that partisan politics have become too contentious?

Yes. It's insane. Unfortunately, I'm too young to really remember anything other than this.
"We feel safe when we read what we recognise, what does not challenge our way of thinking.... a steady acceptance of pre-arranged patterns leads to the inability to question what we are told."
