Obviously the scariest mindset of all is that of the Ugandan evangelicals who think homosexuals should be put to death, but what I was thinking of initially is the mindset of the American ones who reason like "if we can't manage to convince people of our hateful ideology here, let's go to some countries where they might be more receptive, spread our propaganda there and then come back" - leaving both the persecuted and the persecutors to face the music on their own.
