Baptism isn't a free pass to Heaven; that takes a lifetime of positive morality and belief in whichever higher power you believe in. You can be a morally upstanding atheist, but if you don't believe that God in some form exists, you don't love Him, and that's the other part that's asked of us. So for all you atheists out there who think, "Well I'm a good person, so if God does exist I'm in the clear right?" Nope, welcome to eternal damnation.

And since they're dead they won't know they've been baptized anyway.
