It would probably help if you deleted the stuff from two, three posts back?

what I've said is lost in the green as I was replying to it
Even if you had neatly put your comments inbetween his, it would've been confusing what with you guys leaving all of the prior replies there - and it doesn't exactly help in keeping the posts brief and readable for others.
By the way, you're aware of the setting that puts all of the other person's paragraphs into separate quote sections so you can easily reply to them all without risking anything like this, yeah? You can switch it on individually per post by clicking the right-most button inbetween subject and body in the message posting form, or you can just set it as a general setting. Just a heads up in case that was the problem.

I agree Romney will be the candidate.

I would say the math favors Romney over Obama, but it will probably be close either way.

I have never understood the point of the Electoral College.

You don't think like a politician then

I certainly hadn't considered much of that. I'm glad you posted it. *NM*

I also have not seen most of that mentioned in the popular vs. electoral debate.

a bit simplistic and unrealistic

When illustrating a point realism is not required and simplicity is a plus

Also I don't like this refrain that implies only the POTUS vote matters

IMHO, parliaments choosing prime ministers is LESS democratic than the electoral college.

After I thought about it more, I realized France and the US are not so different in that respect.
