I can’t believe you got the sarcasm but missed the point. I said the Brits seemed to be a little thin skinned on the issue and that I suspected it was because they didn’t like him and the reply was that I was wrong but it came off to me as thinned skinned and that he didn’t like him. That seemed sarcasm worthy.

As for Texas I don’t believe I ever took offense to someone saying something that I accepted as true but just didn’t like that they had said it. It is mostly Hollywood caricature of Texas I object to or things like Joel saying Dallas is a soulless then admitting he had only been to one mall on the outskirts of town and he opinion was based solely on what some people from Fort Worth had told him. The reality is I don’t like Dallas but that doesn’t mean I would call him on his BS. I have no problem with people standing up for their home, in fact the opposite is true, but if your defense boils down to “I don’t care if it’s true I just don’t like you and don’t want you saying it” then my sympathy weans. As for NY, I categorically refuse to defend NY;)
