The main problem with the modern intellectual is their stunning lack of actual intelligence.
Including all the rif raff does not remedy that perceived problem. I say, "perceived," because it often consists of people who say the moon landing was a hoax denying the intelligence of the people who put a man on the moon, which is hard to take seriously.
Just as disagreement with many uneducated people does not invalidate their voting rights, disagreement with many educated people does not invalidate their education.
