.....this seems to be the first time that it is causing nothing to get done. Compromise has been gone since 2004/2005'ish and nothing is happening any more in DC. It's a total stalemate. That's new.

Color me shocked. :P I mean, it does paralyze the federal government, which is the next best thing to abolishing it, right? ;)
