Romney caught flak for rushing a political response, but the GENEROUS explanation for the White House blaming the attack on the anti-Muslim film is they knew no better. The less charitable more suspicious view is they knew otherwise but misled the public and Congress to conceal they missed signs of a terrorist attack.
