THE FACTS: Iran has a large southern coastline with access to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. And it has no land border with Syria.
Of course, I totally missed this when he said it, even though I shouldn't have. And Obama apparently missed it too, since he didn't comment on it.

I mean, Irans borders do not extend to the full extent of the ancient Persian empire, and it has not been called "Persia" for about a century, but the first line of Wikipedias "Iran" entry reads, "'Persia' redirects here. For other uses, see Persia (disambiguation)." Why Obama did not nail Romney I have no idea.
