I'd like to see a move away from the sugar rush culturally we seem to have now but this tax doesn't seem to be the way to do it. Logically it makes no sense either as if everyone got diabetes and died at 50 the state would have a big problem solved since they don't have to support them for as long.

IT will only be fixed by slowing down the pace we live, working 6 days a week 9 hours a day leaves very little time for exercise or cooking proper foods until we address that we won't make a dent.
