Not many fun facts about me because I'm kinda boring :P

Ok, well I'm kind of an oddity in that I've worked for the same company throughout my post-college career (over 18 years). Boring yes, but my house is paid for and I have a feasible plan to retire before the age of 50.

I don't read much anymore, but then again I go through reading slumps sometimes. This one has lasted longer than usual though. I'm currently muddling through a crime drama called Jar City by Arnaldur Indridason, which is set in Reykjavik. I only mention this to you because the translation from Icelandic is remarkably bad, and if I remember correctly these things amuse you. I may just have to put it aside and get the last WoT book.

You sound like my youngest brother. He just turned 31 and will have his loans paid off very shortly and then he'll be free to build up even more tens of thousands in reserve (he's a teacher, same for his wife). What I would give for that right now!

That series sounds intriguing, but maybe because I've heard Icelandic is a very difficult language to learn for an English speaker. And yes, (bad) translations amuse me :D
