I a had a Nook color that I rooted because someone talked me into it and ended up putting it back after a little bit of time. I mostly used it for reading books and watching Netflix and it worked just fine for that before I went and messed with it. I have since bought a knidle with e-ink and got a smart TV so now it sits in my night stand.
should I "root" my Kindle Fire or not?
