For a serious answer to the topic: I was very disappointed when I heard this story on the radio this morning. I don't like cheating. But, then I started doing some digging and reading around. It seems most if not all teams have a "gentleman's agreement" to do whatever they want with their footballs. Looks like the Colts only complained because they were getting their asses handed to them.

It is a similar situation to the thing they got in trouble for before, the filming the other teams. Seems that most if not all the teams do it, but the Patriots did it in the wrong place by like 20 feet or something. Wrong? Yes, and they should have been punished for it. I'm glad they were.

To me, the most troublesome thing is that all these teams feel like they can/should cheat as long as they all agree to it. Change the rules or live by the ones you have.

So, despite some other things I've heard about ambient air temps and pressure and how it can affect it, I think they probably did underinflate the balls. But, given the other things I've read, I'm like whatever at this point.
