I voted in the democratic primaries when Hillary was running against the community organizer in chief just hoping to keep him out of office. You just show on election day and say which primary you want to vote in. So for a while there I was a registered democrat. The problem is the low voter turn out in off elections means the fanatics can have a much louder voice.
